How to play Snakes and Ladders

Race your token from 1 to 100. Land at the foot of a ladder and you climb to its top; land on a snake's head and you slide down to its tail. First token to reach 100 exactly wins — overshoot and you bounce back. Play with 2 to 4 players, and let the computer take any seats you don't have people for.

The twist — roll two, choose one

Instead of pure luck, each turn you roll two dice and choose which one to move — so there's a real decision every go. Land on an event square and things get lively: swap places with another player, steal a jump to the nearest ladder, or roll again. It turns the old family favourite into a game with a bit of cunning.
