Liar, liar, pants on fire.
Everyone secretly sees the same word — except one player, the liar, whose pants are on fire. Clues go round the group on a per-player clock — a set number of rounds, each clue against the timer — proving you know the word without giving it away. The liar has to blag it. Then vote out the liar.
Classic is the clean core game — deal, clues on the clock, vote, done. Expert switches everything on: player names with saved groups (kept on your phone only), a Questions mode where the liar unknowingly answers a different question, a mystery liar count (could be none — the vote gains a "Nobody's lying" option), a decoy mode where the liar doesn't even know it's them, secret roles, mid-game events, progressive clues, and remix or custom packs — all scored as a points league over 5–20 games with a running table and a champion at full time.
Every extra is switched on individually. Secret roles — enable any mix — hand one random innocent a twist each game: the Snitch (knows one innocent), the Wingman (knows the liar and scores if they escape) or the Clown (scores by getting voted out). Events can hit mid-game — speed rounds, mime rounds, double points — with a frequency dial (once a game, or chaos) and type filters. Progressive clues drip the liar extra intel between rounds (every round, or final round only) via a pass-round where everyone peeks, so nobody knows who learned something.
More packs: Remix mashes two packs into a new one, or build your own on the spot (kept on your phone for the session only).
How many players? 3 to 12 on one phone. With 7 or more you can add a second liar.
How do clue rounds work? You choose how many clues each player gives (default 3) and how long each clue turn lasts (default 10 seconds). Clues go round in player order on the clock; voting only opens once the rounds are done.
Does it need signal? No — once loaded it works fully offline, tunnels included.
What's hint mode? The liar gets one vague hint about the word instead of nothing at all — easier to blag, harder to catch.
