Nine Men's Morris — also called Mills — is an ancient two-player strategy game. First you take turns placing your nine pieces on the board's points. Then you slide pieces along the lines to neighbouring empty points. Whenever you line up three of your pieces along a line — a "mill" — you get to remove one of your opponent's pieces. Reduce your opponent to two pieces, or leave them with no legal move, and you win. When you're down to three pieces you can "fly" a piece to any empty point.
Our version adds the diagonal lines joining the corners, so there are more ways to make a mill and more to think about. Play against the computer on Easy, Normal or Hard, or pass the phone for two players. There's nothing to install and no account.
How many players? One against the CPU, or two sharing a phone.
What are the controls? Tap a point to place; to move, tap your piece then a highlighted destination; tap a rival piece to remove it after a mill.
