How to play Mancala

Mancala is an ancient sowing game. Each player has a row of six pits and a store to their right. On your turn you scoop up all the seeds from one of your pits and drop them one by one into the following pits, going anticlockwise and dropping one in your own store as you pass it. If your last seed lands in your store, you take another turn. If it lands in one of your own empty pits, you capture that seed and all the seeds in the pit opposite, banking them in your store. When one side is empty the game ends and the other player banks their remaining seeds — most seeds wins.

Combos and lucky pits

Chain your extra-turn moves for a combo, and watch for the lucky pit that doubles a capture. Play the computer on Easy, Normal or Hard, or pass the phone for two players. There's nothing to install and no account.
